Tina’s Tacos is a local favorite lunch spot where regulars report that Tina is more than happy to cater to special requests, like making heart-healthy or Weight Watchers-friendly meals. You can’t go wrong with the chicken, pico, tacos, quesadillas, chimichangas, or anything else for that matter.
Hang out, sit outside, relax, and enjoy the San Juan Island sun (weather permitting). Tina has developed a loyal following due to her welcoming and accommodating nature. Tina’s Tacos is not only delish, it’s affordable!
Bakery San Juan is known for having an epic view, great pizza, and an awesome bakery! While San Juan isn’t known for having food that is both delicious and affordable, Bakery San Juan offers many amazing dishes that won’t break the bank.
Regulars can’t say enough about the Key Lime pie and the pizza by the slice. You’ll no doubt love their pizza, like the Caprino Fresco, the La Prima, and even the surprisingly flavorful potato pizza. You’ll savor the mouth-watering toppings and tasty crust. The crust is thin, bubbly, and never soggy or limp.
Bakery San Juan is truly a gem with plenty of seating and a view of the airport.
Don’t just come for the beer tasting — which is pretty awesome — you’ll also love the food. A few of the favorite dishes are the blackened shrimp pizza, the tuna poke, and the curry clam, but there’s not much not to like. If you’re a beer lover, be sure to try their award-winning ESB and the Yachter’s Daughter.
While you’re waiting for your ferry, grab a beer (or a sampler) and enjoy some good grub! If you love your pets, you’ll be glad to know they have a dog-friendly patio.
Friday Harbor sure seems to know how to do pizza, as it seems like most of the affordable restaurants offer a unique selection of pizza. However, pizza is what Van Go’s Pizza specializes in (no surprise!). And, their pizza takes the “yum factor” to another level. The atmosphere is great and the owners are super friendly. Make sure you stop by Van Go’s next time you’re visiting Friday Harbor.
Ooh la la, Salty Fox Coffee offers some of the best coffee around. In the Pacific Northwest, that’s saying something! The coffee isn’t cheap — but is coffee cheap anywhere anymore — but Salty Fox’s coffee is impeccably and expertly crafted. They also offer plenty of tasty treats like baked goods and other yummies. Did we mention the atmosphere and ambiance (with its amazing views) is to die for? It’s also a perfect location if you’re waiting for the ferry!
